As anyone that already knows Lucas, they know he IS the fella when you want efficient and professional potty cleaning. He handles his porta potty pump like no other technician! He makes sure our shower trailers sing! Lucas makes luxury restroom trailers refreshing! Always a friendly attitude, full of happy energy to take care of your portable toilet.
Potty Girl’s lead driver starts his route early at 5:30 am. This fisherman is always up early! In Potty Girl’s yard, his sharp eyes inspect the Potty Girl Ford 550 that he will drive on his route today. Tires, check. Pump, check. Lights, check. Blue liquid, check. He makes sure water is filled in his truck to clean all the portable toilets before they become too stinky. With black coffee by his side, he is ready to safely leave our yard in Lafayette to take care of business in the potty world.
Most days Lucas will service around 35 portable restroom units for Potty Girl and may drive up to 150 miles in a day. His regular routes are mostly construction job sites. He told us “I like the weekly routes most simply because I like the fact of being on the road traveling beats the hell out of a desk job”.
We are proud of our solid and growing construction customer base in the area which has always been a priority with our customer service team. Lucas’ personality is a perfect fit with Potty Girl and our loyal customers. He shared that “quite a few of our customers hunt and fish so build I relationships with them through fishing stories”. Any day that Lucas is scheduled off, you can expect that he will be fishing and posting his catches on Facebook before his chef skills come into his kitchen.
In his free time not only does he catch his limit of fish nearly every time but a rounded out guy that loves the outdoors. He stated “I like to hunt. I also enjoy mountain biking, playing frisbee, golf and skiing. He also knows where to find the best restroom trailers for every LSU Home Game! But my true passion is definitely fishing”. That is our Lucas!!!
How does Lucas service a portable toilet so good?
With the deft of an avid fisherman and LSU fan, he pitches open the port-a-potty's plastic door, tightens his grip, and casts that hose and its giant suction cup into the portable toilet. Then the hose expands, behaves like a redfish on his that line will give him a tug and a little kick while he pumps out gallons of sinister slime into the sanitary stainless steel tank. He will stock up the porta john with that necessary toilet paper. The blue liquid is refreshed in the big bowl for you to know it is confidently clean. He does it in about five minutes!
He always closely inspects the portable unit for any safety or hazardous issues that he needs to address. Sometimes there is a door hinge that needs to be tightened or toilet paper roll dispenser that needs an adjustment which he will take care of in a couple minutes. Lucas is ready for his next service that is programmed by an app specially designed for Potty Girl. He spends his day on the road making our world a cleaner place. Thanks, Lucas!
He loves handling special events restroom trailers at festivals, such as Festival International de la Louisiane, because in his words “I take pride in special event deliveries because its fun to WOW our customers with what we do. I’ve never had a disappointed customer.” He is also one of our most requested White Glove Restroom Attendants at VIP events and weddings! One of the many spectacular qualities about Lucas is that is always goes above and beyond what would be expected of him.
Now the amazing Lucas had a few not so happy moments in the potty world. “The worst experience I've ever had on a route was finding a dead kitty in a toilet and getting stung by a wasp at the same time” and not even all of that stopped Lucas’ day. He is no stranger to spending fifteen minutes per portable toilet after being blown over in an unexpected rainstorm from damaging winds. He takes care of business!
Friends, family and even strangers ask Lucas “why do you love a job that is the dirtiest job ever?”. He just lets them know changing a diaper is smellier and dirtier than his job. Potty Girl gives him a sense of pride and it funds his passion – fishing!!
