Lafayette, La. – Downtown Alive! (DTA!) welcomes Flow Tribe at Parc International, on November 3rd. Flow Tribe’s second line brass and Cuban-Caribbean rhythms meld with R&B, soul, rock, and hip-hop beats in high-energy performances that turn every show into a celebration. The six-member band's onstage chemistry reflects a seamless combination of soul and movement that hits the audience within the first few notes.
The party starts at 5 p.m. as DTA! hosts Lafayette’s Happiest Hour. This week’s DTA! Happiest Hour is hosted by The Wurst Biergarten from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. and they’ll be offering a craft beer by Parish Brewing, Nova Vert Ale for $5 to thirsty patrons. The Downtown Alive! “Official After Party” kicks off at The Wurst Biergarten immediately following DTA!.
We continue the new addition of the DTA! Manger food scene where hungry concertgoers can expect another lineup of local favorites. This week features a variety of food vendors including Acadiana Superette, Joy’s, and C’est Bon Manger.
DTA! kids begins at 5:30 p.m, provided by the Children’s Museum of Acadiana with fun activities and MLR Magic showcasing their animal character balloons and face-painting. Bring the family to enjoy a great outdoor event suitable for kids of any age.
As a reminder – DTA! is funded through drink sales, so please leave your outside drinks at the bar. Smoking and pets are not allowed to encourage a safe and family-friendly event for all.
